5.4.8 START-UP AFTER ACCIDENTAL STOP (q)
In the event of an unintended stoppage of the FOX Multi Carrier and / or
attachment tool, always follow the instructions given in the machines'
instruction manuals. (Both FOX Multi Carrier and attachment tool!)
An unintentional stoppage can occur at any time. There can be various reasons, but often stoppage can be
avoided if the operator uses and maintains the machine correctly and eliminates hitting:
Larger stones
Tree stumps
Fence wire
Well-covers
Litter and other garbage
Plastic and other packaging
Bicycles/scrap
If the attachment tool hits any of the above objects, strong vibrations will typically occur.
By signs of strong vibration, or in the event of a leak, lost and / or loose parts on the machine, the operator
should do the following:
1. Stop the machinery immediately.
2. Apply the parking brake, switch off the vehicle, remove the key and make sure that the machinery
is stopped completely.
3. Tilt the attachment tool around and lower to a height where the machine can be inspected.
4. Attachment tool and FOX Multi Carrier are inspected and checked:
o
When foreign materials are found, these are removed manually. (Fence wire, plastic, etc.)
Also, check machine parts for cracks, breaks, missing parts, or damage.
o
Do not drive until all damage has been repaired!
Follow the recommendations below for start-up after a shutdown:
•
Make sure that the entire machine is inspected and in order.
•
Slowly start up the machine. (See the instruction manual for used
attachment tool.)
•
Pay special attention to the fact that both the FOX Multi Carrier and the
attachment tool work according to all guidelines stated in each of their
instruction manuals.
