Digital Display
• Range: Press RANGE once to change from autoranging to manual ranging.
The
RANGE
icon will appear, indicating manual ranging. Press RANGE
to select the appropriate measurement range. Press and hold RANGE for
two seconds to return to the autoranging mode. The
RANGE
icon will
disappear from the display.
• Hold: Press HOLD
and the
HOLD
icon will appear. The beeper will
emit a tone and the display will be held constant until HOLD
is pressed
again.
• Delay Hold: Press DELAY
; after a 6-second delay, the beeper will emit
a tone, the
HOLD
icon will appear, and the meter will sample the value
momentarily and then hold that value on the display. Press HOLD
to
exit Delay Hold immediately) or press DELAY
again (to exit Delay Hold
after a 6-second delay).
Delay Hold offers more flexibility than Hold. For instance, when measuring
current, use Delay Hold to measure the current after an initial current surge.
• Auto Power Off: The meter will automatically shut itself off after approxi-
mately 10 minutes of inactivity. Press Reset to turn the meter back on.
• Beep Guard™: The beeper will emit a tone if the test lead is plugged into
the

AmA input terminal while the selector switch is not in the
µ
A or mA
position.
