3.1 Operating the Handset

1. TEST Button: Located on the top of the Handset. This button is used to
conduct the battery and signal tests (See pg. 27).
2. Signal Test LED Light: This light indicates whether the Handset is within
range of the Base Unit.
3. Battery Test LED Light: This light indicates whether the batteries in the
Handset are working properly or need to be replaced.
4. 911 Activation Button: The 911 Activation Button is used to dial the 911
emergency operator.
