TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Common Issues:
If your
JUST IN CASE
TM
911 Emergency Phone does not work, please follow
these simple steps first. If these steps do not solve your problem, please
contact Customer Support by going to www.justincase911.com.
Step 2:
Check the range between the Handset and Base Unit (see pg. 28).
When the Test Button is pressed and the test sequence is activated, the Signal
Test LED light will display one of the following:
(a) A
SOLID GREEN
light indicates the following:
•
the Handset is within range of the Base Unit,
•
the Base Unit is connected to a power source, and
•
the Base Unit is connected to a working phone line.
(b) A
SOLID RED
light indicates one or more of the following:
•
the Handset is not within range of the Base Unit,
•
the Base Unit is not connected to a power source, and/or
•
the Base Unit is not connected to a working phone line.
Step 1:
Check the battery strength in the Handset (see pg. 27).
When the Test Button is pressed and the test sequence is activated, the Battery
Test LED light will display one of the following:
(a) A
SOLID GREEN
light - indicates that the Handset is ready to be used.
(b) A
BLINKING GREEN
light - indicates that the batteries are low and need
to be replaced. You will hear an audio message “Please replace batteries.”
To ensure that the Handset continues to work properly, replace the
batteries as soon as possible.
(c) Does not illuminate - indicates the batteries are dead and need to be
replaced. You MUST replace the batteries immediately (See pg. 12).
