1. Disconnect your existing tele-
phone cord from the telephone
jack in the wall.
2. Plug the supplied telephone line
splitter into the telephone jack in
the wall (See Figure 6).
3. Plug one end of the supplied tele-
phone cord into the line splitter.
4. Plug the other end of the tele-
phone cord into the telephone line
jack on the back of the Base Unit
(See Figure 4, pg. 19).
5. Plug the telephone cord from your
existing phone into the telephone
line splitter.
IMPORTANT LINE SEIZURE INFORMATION:
If you have more than one telephone in your home sharing the same
number as your
JUST IN CASE
TM
911 Emergency Phone, and if one
of those phones is in use or is off the hook, your
JUST IN CASE
TM
911
Emergency Phone
will NOT work
. ALWAYS make sure that all of your
telephones are on the hook so that your
JUST IN CASE
TM
911 Emergency
Phone will work properly when you need it.
Connecting a Second Telephone:
If you need to plug in a conventional telephone into the same telephone
wall jack as your Base Unit follow these instructions:
