In the electric version, the engine bonnet needs no additional cut-outs. The engine
bonnet is fastened as already described for the installation of the internal combustion
motor.
Gluing on rudder and elevators
Place the tail fin onto the surface of the fuselage and centre it on the fuselage so that
it extends equally far to the left and right and, when viewed from above, forms a right
angle with the longitudinal axis / midline of the fuselage.
With a felt pen, transfer the fuselage contour to the underside of the tail fin.
Use a hot soldering iron to melt through the covering sheet somewhat smaller than
drawn. (Make sure the soldering iron used is too hot; the heat should be just enough
to melt the sheet.)
Apply glue and then glue the tail fin to the fuselage. Examples of glue that can be
used are UHU coll and UHU hart. Align the tail fin to the fuselage as described at the
beginning of the section. Secure the tail fin against slippage until the glue hardens.
After the glue has set, place and fit the horizontal stabiliser onto the tail fin; to do so,
take off the rudder by pulling out the positioning wire. In this position, use a felt pen to
transfer the outer contour of the horizontal stabiliser to the tail fin.
Here, too, melt through the covering sheet somewhat smaller than drawn and
separate it from the tail fin. Glue the horizontal stabiliser in place.
