●
Foreign matter in the fuel valve — clean the fuel valve.
●
Blocked carburettor — clean the carburettor.
2. Oil sump empty
●
Fill the oil sump with SAE 15W/40 oil.
3. Electrical ignition system
Ignition plug faulty.
●
Moist or carbon deposit on ignition plug — remove carbon deposit, wipe ignition plug dry or replace
ignition plug with new one.
●
Ignition system faulty — ask service for advice.
4. Bad compression.
●
Piston and cylinder excessively worn — ask service for advice.
●
Loose nuts in cylinder head — use appropriate torque to tighten the nuts.
STORAGE
●
Remove air filter (16) (fig. J).
●
Drain fuel from the fuel tank (1) to a previously prepared canister (fig. K). Unscrew fuel filler plug (2).
Disconnect fuel line. Turn fuel valve (15) lever to “ON” position.
●
Install fuel line, air filter, and turn fuel valve (15) lever to “OFF” position (fig. L).
●
Clean outer surface of the generator and cover it with rust preventive agent.
●
Store the generator covered, in dry and well ventilated place.
●
Keep the generator in horizontal position at all times.
All faults should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the manufacturer.
