DETAILED SAFETY REGULATIONS
WARNINGS RELATED TO OPERATION OF COMBUSTION ENGINE DRIVEN ELECTRIC GENERATOR
1. COMBUSTION ENGINE EXHAUST GASES ARE POISONOUS.

Never use combustion engine in a closed room, it may cause severe poisoning, and even death after
short time of staying in such conditions. Combustion engine is designed for operation in well venti-
lated environment.
2. ENGINE FUEL IS FLAMMABLE AND POISONOUS
-
If fuel gets into digestive system, respiratory system, or into eyes, search for medical assistance im-
mediately. When fuel spills onto skin or clothing, wash it away with water and soap, change clothes
immediately.

When using or carrying the generator ensure it stays in appropriate position. Keeping the generator
tilted may cause fuel leak from carburettor or tank.

When the generator is operated, it is forbidden to come close with open flames or a cigarette.
3. COMBUSTION ENGINE OR EXHAUST PIPE MAY BE HOT
-
Place the generator in places, where it is impossible for by-passers and children to touch it.
-
Avoid placing any flammables close to exhaust pipe of operating combustion engine.

Place the generator at least 1 metre away from a building or other device to prevent generator over-
heating.

The exhaust system heats up to high temperatures during operation and remains hot, after the engine
is stopped.
4. ELECTRIC SHOCK PREVENTION
-
Never use generating set in damp conditions.
-
Never touch parts of the generator with wet hands, it may cause electric shock.

Connect earthing to the generator before operation.
-
Do not lay connection cables on or under the generator.
5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONNECTING THE GENERATOR

Do not connect the generator to a regular mains network.
-
Do not connect the generator in parallel with another one.
-
Do not power electronic devices, such as: radio receivers, television sets, home cinemas, HI-FI equip-
ment, satellite installations, computers etc.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE OF COMBUSTION ENGINE DRIVEN ELECTRIC GENERATOR

Read this manual carefully to familiarize with purchased product. Pay attention in particular to possible
applications of the generator, its limitations and potential dangers specific for this type of product.
●
Place the generator on a sound ground only.
●
Generator load must be within the range specified on the rating plate. Overloading the generator may
cause its damage or reduced durability.
●
Engine should not operate at excessive rotational speed. Do not attempt to modify construction of the
generator to increase or decrease rotational speed of the engine.
●
Never use the generator, when any part is missing, there are no protective shields etc.
●
Do not use or store the generator in damp or wet environment. Do not put the generator on highly con-
ductive surfaces, such as metal platforms etc. If its impossible to meet these conditions, use rubber
gloves and rubber boots.
●
Keep the generator clean from oil, mud and other dirt.
●
Extension cords, power cords and all other electrical devices must be in good technical condition. Never
use any electrical device with damaged power cord.
