Printing on a lower heat setting uses less battery power and allows the printer to
print labels at a faster rate.
Motor
Motor speed (how fast or slowly the motor feeds the label past the print head)
may be decreased or increased by pressing the
DEC
and
INC
soft keys or by
using the direction pad.
Feed
When auto-feed is on, the label is automatically advanced past the cutter position
after printing is completed. When auto-feed is off, the user must press
FEED
to
advance the label after printing is completed.
Disabling auto-feed is useful when designing labels that merge or split lines (see
label example on page 32).
The auto-feed setting may be enabled or disabled with the
ON
and
OFF
soft keys.
