The major component of the Ar Intake System s the Wall
Vent. It looks much lke a common dryer vent, only larger.
The Ar Intake System delvers outsde ar to support
three mportant functons.
The Ar Intake System delvers cool outsde ar to the
outer chamber of the Double Wall Chmney Ppe to
cool the outer wall and reduce fire hazard.
The Ar Intake System provdes cool ar to crculate
and cool the space around the Frebox Assembly
behnd the Face Frame.
The Wall Vent also supples outsde ar to the
Combuston Ar Tube, whch s bult nto the Frebox
Base. The outside air enters the firebox area and
supports combuston nstead of usng the warm ar from
the room, which greatly increases the efficiency of the
fireplace.
