VALVE & HANDLES INSTALLATION
1.
Prepare the recess in the wall for the valve pipe work taking into account the maximum and minimum depth allowed. Place valve

sleeve

into the wall recess. Recommended depth for valve in wall measured from center of valve inlet/outlet to finished wall surface is
in the range 77mm WALL MIN. - 130mm WALL MAX. (see fig. 3.1 & 3.1.1)
NOTE:
Use 1/2” nominal tubing and fittings throughout this installation. Smaller diameter piping upstream or downstream of the valve will reduce the perform-
ance of the valve.
Check the valve for leakage. Complete the finished wall.

After execution of the finished wall remove the protection sleeve

together with cap

by turning and pulling – see fig.3.2.
3.
Unscrew the screw

, take off the stem extension

from a cartridge stem. Cut the stem extension

at the marked-up place using hack-saw so that
the extension protrude from the finished wall by about 5mm; remove all burrs after cutting. Measure the length

of the cut-off part of stem extension

, mark off from the screw end

the same distance

and cut the screw

using hack-saw (see fig. 3.3 & 3.3.1).

Replace the stem extension

on the cartridge stem and screw in the screw

Turn the stem of a cartridge in a valve

to “OFF” position (in clockwise direction) – see fig. 3.5.

Insert handle base

Eine Nische in der Wand für die Ventilinstallation vorbereiten, dabei die minimale und maximale zulässige Ventileinbautiefe beachten. Ventil

in der Wandnische einsetzen. Empfohlene Wandeinbautiefe des Ventils, gemessen von der Einlauf-
/Auslaufachse des Ventils bis zur Ausbauwandfläche, beträgt von 77 mm (WALL MIN.) bis 130 mm (WALL MAX.) (siehe auch Abb. 3.1 und 3.1.1).
ACHTUNG:
Für die Herstellung einer Unterputzinstallation sind Rohre und Muffen mit dem Mindestdurchmesser von 1⁄2“ einzusetzen. Werden Rohre mit
einem kleineren Durchmesser eingebaut, wird der Wasserdurchsatz des Ventils wesentlich verringert.
Hergestellte Verbindungen am Ventil auf Dichtheit prüfen. Ausbauwand fertig bringen.

Nachdem die Ausbauwand fertig gebracht ist, Montageverkleidung
