Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure, page 13, before checking or servicing the equipment.
•
Check all possible problems and causes before disassembling the pump.
PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Pump cycles at stall or fails to hold
pressure at stall.
Worn check valve balls (541) or
seats (233).
Pump will not cycle, or cycles once
and stops.
Air valve is stuck or dirty.
Disassemble and clean air valve.
See page 18. Use filtered air.
Check valve ball (541) severely
worn and wedged in seat (233) or
manifold.
Replace ball and seat. See page
21.
Check valve ball (541) is wedged
into seat (233), due to overpressur-
ization.

check assembly and inspect for
damage, see page 21.
Dispensing valve clogged.
Relieve pressure and clear valve.
Leak detector has activated a shut-
down solenoid
Investigate failure and reset leak

Diaphragm ruptured.

Restricted exhaust.
Remove restriction.
Air bubbles in fluid.
