Attaching the Thread Mast
Instructions
The
thread mast guides the thread to prevent snagging or tangling. Only two of the four guide
loops are used when winding the bobbin or when threading the machine, so the machine can sew
and wind a bobbin at the same time.
Parts & Tools Needed:
Thread Mast
1. Place the thread mast (shown in blue) into the thread mast base.
2. Twist the thread mast to screw it in place.
Note: The guide loops on the thread mast should be positioned so that they are directly above the
thread stands (shown in gray).
