On the new needle, place the

needle magnet above the eye, on the groove (shown in blue).

6. Insert the new needle so the groove and needle magnet are pointed to the front of the machine.

The needle should be inserted all the way into the needle bar. Look through the needle bar sight

hole to make sure the needle is all the way inside the needle bar.

Adjust the needle so the magnet to points as straight out from the machine as possible.

8. Hand-tighten the thumb screw. Do not over-tighten if using the flat-head screwdriver.
