Digital Outputs 4a and 4b are reserved for controlling the power of a connected Garmin
navigation device. Pins 4 and 5 will be connected whenever the vehicle ignition is activated,
or a Garmin message is received. To use these, connect Digital Output 4a to a constant hot
source via a 3A fuse. Connect Digital Output 4b to the red wire on the Garmin FMI 40 data
cable.
