Checking belt alignment

Check the alignment of the belt(s) regularly (minimum daily), while the device is in operation.

If the alignment of the belt is incorrect, the belt as well as the magnet roller will show more wear than

usual.

If the sorter belt gets misaligned, it has to be stopped immediately and adjusted using the driving

roller and/or reversing roller.

Measure the distances from the side of the belt to the end of the roller on the left-hand and the right-hand

side. They must be approximately the same. Otherwise

adjust

the alignment.

The conveyor belt of the NF separator can normally not get misaligned, the belt has a guiding snare on

each side which are steered by belt guide rollers.
