Ending the Measurement and Discharging

End the respective measurement by pressing the

Stop

softkey.

After ending the measurement, any remaining re-
sidual voltage (Uext) is displayed (message:
„Discharge ...“), which may result from cable ca-
pacitance. The instrument’s internal 1 M



resis-

tor causes rapid discharging.

Contact to the motor coils must be retained to this end.

Do not disconnect the object until voltage has fallen
below 25 V, i. e. message „Discharge ...“

disappears.

Note

Voltage measurement in the

RISO

or

COIL

switch position

is used primarily for interference voltage detection before
the respective measurement.
Use the V , V

or V switch position in order to per-

form precise voltage measurements.
