5.8 REGULATIONS
The information below covers the main regulations to be made. They are
completely user-friendly but if you encounter any problems, contact your nearest
authorised Goldoni Technical Assistance Centre.
5.8.1 Registering the clutch cable
From time to time check pedal take-up. When it becomes excessive, regulate it
with adjusting screw 5 Fig.13-14.
5.8.2 Brake adjustment
The main brakes and the parking brake work on the rear wheels. If the braking
performance of one of the two wheels is different from the other, or if pedal take-
up is excessive, linkage 2, Fig. 15 should be adjusted.
This adjustment will be done separately on each wheel.
The parking brake is adjusted with linkage 3, Fig. 15.
5.8.3 Steering adjustment
(only for SN/A - ARTICULATED models)
If the steering radius has to be increased (for example, if wider wheels are
mounted) follow these instructions (see fig. 18):
−
Remove the fulcrum pin from steering cylinder 1 (rear side)
−
Remove the rod from steering cylinder 2. Slacken off tube 5 to facilitate this
operation.
−
Fix washer 3 with the 4 screws in the kit. Use Loctite on the threads to lock
the screws.
−
Reinstall the rod in the cylinder.
This procedure should be followed for both steering cylinders: right and left.
