5. MAINTENANCE - CLEANING - LUBRICATION
5.1 ENGINE
Refer to engine instruction manual.
5.2 FILLING WITH OIL
5.2.1 Gearbox
Check oil level with plug n.2 fig.4
We recommend Arbor oil by FL Selenia:
GEAR SYNT 220 PG
Change oil every 150 hours. Amount required is about 2 litres.
Add oil through plug n.2 fig.4
Oil drain: plug n.1 fig.7
5.2.2 Greasing
Every 50 hours, grease the points shown in fig.4:
n.3 Gear lever (2 grease nipples on right and on left).
We recommend Arbor grease by FL Selenia:
ARBOR MP Extra
5.3 REGISTRATIONS AND CHECKS
The indications given here refer to the main registrations to be done. They are
extremely easy. If you have problems, check with your nearest Goldoni
Technical Assistance Service.
5.3.1 Clutch registration
From time to time check the clutch lever. If the take-up is excessive, adjust with
register E fig.3.
5.3.2 Throttle registration
To adjust throttle lever travel, use the registering screws on the end of the cable
where it goes into the engine casing.
5.3.3 Registering the engine stop (models with diesel engines).
From time to time check if the engine stops with lever n.1 raised about 60mm.
If it does not, adjust with the screw on the cable at the end connecting to the
engine.
5.3.4 Wheel release registration
Lever n.7 fig.1 or n.9-10 fig.2, must have a 2 mm take-up before beginning to
release the wheel. This take-up is adjusted with register screw n.13 fig.1 or n.12
fig.2.
