What is a firmware?
Every general PC has an Operating System (Ex, Windows2000, Windows
XP, Linux etc.) to operate the PC. All MP3 players also have a program to
operate the device. This program is called the firmware.
What is a firmware update?
This is the update of the program to operate the MP3 to the latest version.
Updates generally include bug fixes or functional improvements not found
initially.
Installing the firmware update program
Double click on the setup.exe file in the Firmware folder inside the installa -
tion CD to install the related program.
* You can refer to the installation CD included with the product or the
homepage for the related program.
