GAS CONNECTION (gas heated models only)

 

DANGER! 

All operations must be carried out by fully qualified engineers.

Gas connection must be realized in conformity with national legal requirements.

 

DANGER!

For YOUR SAFETY and to reduce explosion and fire risks IF YOU SMELL GAS:

 

- Close gas-tap

 

- Open the windows

 

- Do not absolutely touch any electrical component 

 

- Extinguish immediately cigarettes and any other free flame present

 

- Call immediately your qualified installer. Do not use phone inside the room.

The manufacturer cannot be held responsible should these regulations not be observed.

GAS PIPE

For gas connection only use a homologated pipe for the connection. 

Refer to Table 6 for the gas pipe size.

The gas supply pipe must be adequate to the type of gas used and conform with norms in force in the destination country.

The gas pipe must be equipped with a manual stop valve positioned between the gas entry and the ironer.

IMPORTANT!

GAS PRESSURE

The accurate temperature control and its regular distribution across the cylinder are fundamental for drying ironer 

efficiency, performance and to obtain a good ironing finish.

To the purpose of obtaining a correct temperature distribution, it is necessary to have a regular and nice flame, which 

is only obtained by ensuring a stable gas supply pressure.

Therefore, gas supply line should be dedicated for the ironer (not shared with other equipment). Should this not be 

possible, in relation to the gas type and flux, a pressure-regulator must be installed on the pipe for gas supply in 

proximity to the ironer. 

Pressure regulator is not supplied with the ironer.

Refer to Table 2 for gas consumption figures.

CONNECTING THE GAS

The ironer is pre-set in the factory according to customer order.

Before connecting the gas, make sure that the gas pre-set indicated on the serial number plate corresponds to the gas 

used at the site.

Connect the gas pipe.

 

DANGER!

After connection check the absence of gas leaks:

Sprinkle union, connection, inlet and outlet pipes with a solution of water and soap.

Switch on the ironer and activate the heating. Soap bubbles indicate a gas leak. 

Eliminate the gas leak.
