This section makes recommendations for the initial setting of the torque control potentiometer 

when installing a cable which has not been installed before, and, whose characteristics are 

unknown. 

The diagram to the left shows the torque 

and speed control knobs set in the maxi-

mum counter-clockwise position. 

In this position both torque and speed will 

be minimum. (Zero) 

The diagram to the right shows the 

torque and speed control knobs set 

in the maximum clockwise position. 

In this position both torque and 

speed will be maximum (see speci-

fication for details).
