(It will be necessary to adjust the position of the roller. This roller provides support for the 

measuring wheel. It should be positioned so that the measuring wheel does not deflect the 

cable.  

9. Procedure for changing inserts in the in-feed guide 

Loosen and remove the two screws 

securing the upper housing onto the 

lower housing 

Loosen and remove the screw se-

curing the insert into the upper 

housing 

Remove the insert 

Repeat the process for 

the insert in the other 

housing half  

To fit the new inserts, reverse 

the disassembly procedure.

 

10. Procedure for re-positioning the measuring system fixed roller 

Loosen the screw holding the roller 

support bracket in position 

Position the bracket so that the roller is 

in light contact with the new cable. 

Tighten the screw.
