*Hand temperature inspection of Model 8550-SD
TEG heat pipes is done to check that the heat pipe is
warm, up to 2 inches (50 mm) from the tip.
If the inspection satisfies the hand inspection as per
Section 3.5.1, the detailed inspection described in
Section 3.5.2 is not required.
Heat Pipe Geographic Orientation Map and Wind Direction Diagram
Record the wind direction and geographic orientation of the TEG.
