Seat Subwoofer Replacement
The subwoofer is located behind the grill on the lower back of the seat. To replace it you need to
remove the seat from the cabinet.
1.
Remove the six (6) screws that secure the front cover on the seat pedestal. Carefully remove the
cover with the attached Knocker Assembly.
2.
Reach inside and remove the six (6) bolts with washers that secure the seat to the pedestal.
3.
Disconnect the speaker harness Molex connector under the seat.
4.
Carefully lift the seat off of the pedestal.
5.
Remove the four (4) 1/4-20H Torx security screws that secure the subwoofer grill to the back of
the seat.
6.
Remove the four (4) screws that secure the subwoofer to the seat.
7.
Remove the wires from the subwoofer and install them to the same terminals on the new
subwoofer.
8.
Reverse these steps to re-install the subwoofer and seat.
Seat Knocker or Fuse Replacement
The force-feedback knocker consists of a knocker solenoid, relay PCB, and +12/+24 VDC power
supply. There is a fuse in the power line near the Solenoid Assembly. The Knocker Solenoid
assembly is mounted to the inside of the seat pedestal front cover. When activated, it strikes a
plate under the top panel of the pedestal. To replace it, refer to Figure 21 and perform the steps
below.

Knocker Solenoid Assembly
1.
Turn off power and disconnect the cabinet AC power cord.
2.
Remove the six (6) screws that secure the front cover on the seat pedestal. Carefully remove the
cover with the attached Solenoid Assembly.
3.
To replace the fuse, pry out the old fuse and replace with a Mouser
®
504-mdl-3
or equivalent
slo-blow fuse.
