9.8. Configuring notifications
In this area you can specify which notifications are to be generated and create forwarding rules.

9.8.1. System messages
You can record system events such as the logging in/logging out of a Gira S1 to/from the portal and
the access to the remote network via an app.
9.8.2. Notifications via KNX
The purpose of notifications is to save information from the installation, e.g. about KNX group objects,
on the portal in a message database. 50 KNX communication objects are available for receiving values
from the KNX and generating messages from them.
The following data types are supported:
• Bool (1 bit)
• Counter (1 byte), e.g. number of open windows
• Percent (1 byte), e.g. brightness or blind position
• Floating point number (2 bytes), e.g. indoor or outdoor temperature
• Text (14 bytes), e.g. alarm text
