How long does a patient typically continue receiving treatments?

After the initial 6 treatments, a typical patient returns on a monthly basis for maintenance.
Some may return every few months as needed. This is usually determined by the physician or
technician.

Active Rosacea should never be treated. If the condition is calm, the patient can be treated at

Can ingrown hairs be treated?

Yes. This procedure is excellent for patients with ingrown hairs and for patients undergoing
hair removal treatments. The Gio Peel keeps the hair follicle unclogged between treatments.

Should a patient be exposed to sun immediately following a treatment?

No. A three day waiting period is important to prevent sun damage to the skin. Also, always
apply a sunblock of SPF25 or more.
