SPECIFICATIONS
Almost completely constructed in lightweighted ano-
dised and aluminium, suitable to resist corrosions and to
guaranty the needed strenght and lightness.
The poles have been projected with the right diameters
to support all the request solicitations.
The support structure and the ball joints are made of alu-
minium profiles and have been projected to have a great
security and cannot be open accidentally.
It is longitudinally separable in two mirror-like parts, it is
equipped with an extension system with related locking
systems to adapt it to the patient's height, a non-slip
surface and comes supplied with a set of 3 safety straps.
THE SPECIFICATIONS OF OUR SCOOP STRETCHER 34103 ARE CONFORM TO THE REQUESTED NEW EURO-
PEAN NORMS EN 1865 AND ALL TECHNICAL TESTS HAVE BEEN DONE BY A NOTIFIED ORGANISATION WHO
ISSUE THE “CE” CERTIFICATES.
INSTRUCTIONS
To load a patient, open one or boath hinges which are at both ends of the stretcher, pushing the A shutter release. Open
the stretcher and slide it under the patient, when closing the two poles, clic the shutters release as shown in fig. 2 and pay
attention that the shutters are well closed.
To regulate the poles lenght rotate the small lever B up to 90° as fig. n. 2 and pull the poles as much as needed, then secure
the small lever B and be sure that is reaches the catch holes.
Before moving the patient, it is advisable to secure him/her with the three fixing straps, located respectively at the level of
the chest, of the pelvis and a few centimetres above the knee.
The stretcher can be stored open when at the minimum extension or folded in two.
To folded it, should pull completely the poles and bend them as seen in fig. 1.
For a correct use when lifting a patient, the stretcher should be pulled by the obtained sideways handles and not by the
poles which could be dangerous for the patient and damage the stretcher.
To clean the stretcher use soap and water and/or eventually a suitable disinfectant.
At irregular intervals it would be convenient to oil the sliding poles with a little vaseline grease.
CAUTION
: the utilisation of the stretcher should be done by skilled staff. Do not allow untrained persons to help during
the use of the device, as they could cause injury to the patient or to themselves.
- Always check the integrity of the device before each use. In case of anomalies or damages which could compromise
the functionality and safety of the device, and therefore of the patient and the operator, it is necessary to immediately
remove the device from service and to contact the Manufacturer.
- Should the device be malfunctioning, it is necessary to immediately use a similar product, in order to guarantee the
continuity of the rescue operations.
- It is forbidden to use the device for any use other than that described in this manual.
- Do not alter or modify the device arbitrarily; modifications could cause unpredictable operation and damage to the
patient or rescuers.
- The device must not be tampered with in any way (modification, adjustment, addition, repair), otherwise we are no longer
responsible for its correct operation or for any damage caused by the device itself; furthermore, the CE certification and
the product warranty are invalidated
