- Remove the front shield, disconnecting the wiring and the connectors of the headlights and lights.

Remove the 3 screws as shown in the figure.

- Paying attention not to damage the plastic parts,

release the 3 upper retainers of the windshield

support and the 4 side retainers of the front shield.

Knee-guard

- Remove the centre union.

- Remove the 4 lateral screws (2 on each side) in-

dicated in the figure.

- Press the shield back plate forward to allow ac-

cess to the socket on the frame of the key switch.

- Turn the frame in anticlockwise direction (it may

be necessary to use pliers), disengaging the lock-

ing teeth shown in the figure.
