Extending the wireless network coverage with a repeater
Using a repeater, e.g. the Gigaset WLAN Repeater, you can extend your wireless net-
work's coverage. Set it up within the range of your network. The repeater will now trans-
mit data traffic into its own wireless area. This technology allows you to set up wireless
networks that cover a much larger area than is possible with a single Gigaset SX553
WLAN dsl.
PCs to be connected in a wireless local area network via a Gigaset WLAN Repeater must
be equipped with a wireless network adapter or a USB adapter.
