One possible service is
DynDNS.org
(http://www.DynDNS.org). If you have activated
the device's DynDNS function, it will monitor its public IP address. When this changes,
the device will open a connection to DynDNS.org and update its IP address there.
To use the router's DynDNS function, select
Dynamic DNS
from the
Advanced Settings
–
Internet
menu.

Activate the
Dynamic DNS
function.
ì
Select a service from the
Service provider
list.
ì
Enter
Domain name
,
User name
and
Password
. You will have received all the nec-
essary information when you registered with your
Service provider
.

Click
OK
to apply the settings.
Note:
You must have an account with the service you have chosen (e.g. DynDNS.org) before
you can use the DynDNS function of the Gigaset SX553 WLAN dsl. Follow the instruc-
tions on the provider's website. Then enter the user data when configuring the router.
