Power on / off
Press this button to switch on the instrument.
On power-up the instrument performs a function test cycle of the display (four 8s are being
displayed to verify that all segments of the display turn on correcty); after completion of this
test, the software version that controls the instrument is being displayed on the screen
(example 1.07).
This number needs to be communicated in case of request for assistance!
Press this button from the weight display screen for at least two seconds. The display shows the indication
OFF
.
Release the button to switch off the instrument.
The LED on the front of the instrument indicates the battery charging status when the power cable is insert-
ed. Green LED on indicates charging completed, LED off indicates charging in progress.
Within the menus, this button increases the selected value (in the insertion pages), otherwise it allows you
to scroll through the various menu pages.
Alternate net weight / gross weight display
If the appropriate option has been enabled in the menu, pressing this button alternates the
display from gross weight (default option) to net weight (so as to exclude any weight varia-
tions). If this option is active, when the button is pressed, the instrument displays the indica-
tion
NEt
and the displayed weight value is zeroed and used as a temporary tare for subse-
quent readings. When the button is pressed a second time, the instrument displays the indi-
cation
GrS
, then returns to displaying the gross weight.
Within the menus, this button clears the value selected on the data entry pages.
Enable / disable peak
Press this button to activate or deactivate the peak function.
If the peak is active, the indication
On P
is displayed and then display passes to displaying
the weight.
The weight shown on the display will change only for values greater than the one shown.
If the peak is deactivated, the indication
OFFP
is displayed.
The weight returns to be displayed both for increasing and decreasing values.
Within the menus, this button decreases the selected value (in the entry pages), otherwise it allows you to
scroll through the menu pages.
