Malfunction
Possible cause(s)
Remedy
Wheels “jump”
Tyre damaged
Spoke broken
Contact your specialist bicycle
dealer immediately.
Noises: cracking, banging,
grinding, etc.
Foreign matter has become
trapped in the wheel
Remove the foreign matter.
Use your EPAC very carefully
after this.
Have your EPAC checked
in an approved workshop
for possible consequential
damage.
Damage to the wheel
Contact your specialist bicycle
dealer immediately.
“Spongy” riding behaviour
Tyre pressure too low
Increase the air pressure
(see section 6.1.2)
. If the same
riding behaviour occurs again
fairly shortly thereafter, the
tyre has a slow puncture
(see next line).
Increasingly “spongy” riding
behaviour
Very unusual wheel rolling
behaviour (you feel every
small stone)
Flat tyre
Flat tyre: Replace the inner
tube, also the tyre and rim tape
if necessary, see
section 15.5.1.
