Malfunction
Possible cause(s)
Remedy
Chain jumped off sprocket
Incorrect operation of the
gearshift
Maladjusted or damaged
gear shift mechanism
Leave the bicycle where it is.
Make sure the EPAC cannot
move off. To do this,
switch off the electric drive
(see attached BOSCH original
operating instructions).
Lift the chain onto the next
sprocket by hand,
Lift the rear wheel.
if the following is possible
without force:
turn the crank in the drive
direction.
NOTE:
Under no circumstances should you
apply force if the crank cannot be
turned easily or if you do not have
the strength to lift the back wheel.
Contact your specialist bicycle
dealer immediately.

Actuate the gear lever in the
opposite direction.
Lift the chain onto the next
sprocket by hand,
Lift the rear wheel.
if the following is possible
without force:
turn the crank in the drive
direction.
NOTE:
Under no circumstances should you
apply force if the crank cannot be
easily turned. Contact your specia-
list bicycle dealer immediately.
