8. Clean any remaining heavily soiled parts by hand using a clean
and lint-free cotton cloth and a suitable cleansing agent.
9. Spray the whole EPAC with a suitable spray wax or similar preservative.
WARNING Danger from falls and accidents
Spray wax or other preservatives on the brake discs
may reduce the braking effect.
Clean the brake discs with a suitable degreasing agent.
Consulting your specialist bicycle dealer.
These parts must not be treated with preserving agents.

10. Polish your EPAC after the prescribed waiting time with a clean,
lint-free cotton cloth.
11. Clean the brake discs by hand using a clean, dry,
lint-free cotton cloth and a suitable degreasing agent.
14.3 Workshop service
WARNING Danger from falls and accidents
Servicing which is not/incorrectly carried out, as well as damage from falls or
accidents which is not repaired, may lead to dangerous riding situations, falls
and accidents.
Take your EPAC on time to a workshop that specialises in bicycles at the
prescribed servicing intervals.
Only in this way can worn parts and any damage be reliably discovered and
repaired.
Ask your specialist workshop to show you their confirmation of participa-
tion in a training course for your EPAC to prove that they are qualified to
carry out the work.
