14.. Dismantling and checking the camshaft and
counterweight governor
1 - Remove the engine from the machine and open
.
2 - Remove the camshaft (10).
3 - Measure seat (A) of the camshaft, checking for
wear and tear. The value must not be lower than
28,05 mm (IN) and 27,72 (EX).
4 - Check the regular movement of the pressure
reducer (11
) and the efficiency of the spring (
12);
the whole group must always be replaced in the
case of breakage or irregular operation of the
pressure reducer.
5 - Check that the irregolar centrifugal (1) that are
not present ruptures of the lubrification pallets.
6 - Turn the governor’s gears quickly and check that
the counterweights (14) expand correctly, causing
the pin (15) to be moved axially.
