11.4.  Replacing the system for turning off and stop-

ping the engine

1 - Remove the starter assembly 

[

2 - Remove the filter assembly 

[ 

 

7.1]

.

3  -  Disconnect  the  brake  wire  (2)  from  the  lever 

().

4 - Disconnect the faston (6) from the microswitch 

(8).

5 - Undo the two screws (11) and the stud (12) which 

secure the support bracket (1).

6 - When fitting, perform the above operations in 

reverse, tightening the screws (11) and the stud (12) 

to the torque indicated.

7 - Refit the starter assembly

 and the filter 

assembly 

[ 

 7.1]

.

8 - Start the engine, release the lawnmower lever 

and check that the engine stops within 3 secon-

ds.

 WARNING! Never  return the  lawnmower to 

your client without checking brake efficien-

cy.
