5 Maintenance
5.1 Maintenance intervals
Component Interval Action
Inside cover As necessary • Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
Filter Quarterly • Check the filter.
• Clean a dirty filter using a vacuum cleaner.
• Replace very dirty or damaged filters.
Sound insulation element Annually • Check the soundproofing element.
• Remove any dirt using a vacuum cleaner.
• Replace a very dirty or damaged element.
Wind pressure safety
device
Annually • Check the wind pressure safety device and the
flap.
• Remove any dirt from the device using a vacuum
cleaner.
• Remove any dirt from the pre-filter using a vacu -
um cleaner.
• Replace a very dirty or damaged pre-filter.
Special window reveal
solution
Quarterly • Check the pre-filter in the reveal grille.
• Remove any dirt from the pre-filter using a vacu -
um cleaner.
• Replace a very dirty or damaged pre-filter.
Special loft/cellar
solution
Quarterly • Check the condensate outlet.
• Remove any condensate.
• Pull the inside cover out of the mount-
ing tube.
• Pull up the integrated flap until it clicks
in place.
• Reinsert the inside cover into the
mounting tube (with the air vent poin-
ting upwards).
