1 Explanation of symbols
The following table lists the warnings and
safety information used in this document,
while also defining the type and severi-
ty of the consequences, should they go
unheeded.
DANGER
DANGER means that serious or even life-endan-
gering harm to people will occur.
WARNING
WARNING means that serious or even life-en-
dangering harm to people may occur:
CAUTION
CAUTION means that slight to quite serious
harm to people may occur.
INFORMATION
Important information, though without danger
for people or material, is indicated via the
info-symbol.
1.1 Remarks
• IMPORTANT! Read carefully before
use. Store in a safe place for future
reference!
• Please check the contents of the
delivered material in accordance with
the delivery note. Also check for any
transport damage. Report any missing
items to your supplier within four weeks
of delivery.
• The products must not be stored
outside. They must be stored in a dry,
frost-free place without dust and must
be protected from aggressive substanc-
es and the sun. Relative humidity should
not exceed 60%.
• In addition to the information in this
guide, attention must also be paid to
the instructions regarding existing or
planned systems and components in
the building, especially ventilation sys-
tems and other components.
• A professional company must be used
to install and commission the system.
All normal safety and installation rules
apply. The requirements of local plan-
ning authorities must be complied with.
• Though the contents of this document
have been checked, making sure that
they match the products described,
deviations cannot be ruled out, meaning
that no guarantee of complete con-
sistency can be given. The manufac-
turer declines liability for any damage
resulting from missing or incorrect
information. Changes or additions will
be made to future versions without prior
notification. These are to be found on
the manufacturer‘s website.
1.2 Safety information
• The instructions contained in all guides
must be complied with. Non-compli-
ance may lead to material damage and/
or serious harm to persons.
• Turn off the electricity before starting
with the installation. In some countries,
only certified electricians are allowed
to perform electrical work. In case
of doubt, please contact your local
authority.
• This device can be used by children
from the age of 8 and by people with
physical, sensory or mental impair-
ments or a lack of experience and
knowledge, when they are accompanied
or have been instructed in its safe use
and understand the dangers arising
