Paper Take-Up Roll
The Infinity series of Inkjet plotters have the ability to either drop
completed plots on to the floor or take them up automatically onto
another paper core. If you want the completed plots to be wound
onto another paper core, the take-up mandrel needs to be installed.
See Figure 24.
1. Install the paper take-up roll (2) as follows:
a) Insert the paper take-up mandrel (12) through
the take-up roll (2) from the right side. The gear
end of mandrel will be on the right side.
b) Install an adjustable locking hub (3) on the left
end of the mandrel to secure the take-up roll (2)
on the mandrel (1).
c) Set the mandrel ends in the front rollers. Make
sure the gears are properly meshed on the right
side or the paper take-up function will not work.
d) Close the bail (4) at each end of the mandrel.
e) Hand tighten the bail knob (5) on each end of
the mandrel.
