6.2. External Shutdown
2 pairs of terminals CNR 16 are provided for external shutdown. 10mA is needed
for turning on the internal photo-coupler. The user can use this terminal to
shutdown the UPS when emergency conditions occur, such as fire, short circuit etc.
6.3. DB9 Connection
Four RS-485 and one RS-232 are provided to communicate with more sophisticated
(option) modules. Each connector is specially dedicated to one type of external
module. The following are some connection examples of optional modules.
