Lid difficult to open
Dirty or contaminated outer lid
seal
Clean the outer lid sealing face, clean
or replace the outer lid seal.
No Vacuum
Pump not running
Check power is connected to pump
and pump is switched on.
Excessive vibration
at start-up
Batch baffles not fitted when
operating in batch mode
Stop the evaporator, fit baffles and
restart.
Excessive vibration
during run
Feed baffle not inserted when
operating in feed mode
Stop the evaporator, remove product
solution from evaporation vessel, insert
baffle and restart.
Excessive
evaporation times
Poor vacuum or vacuum integrity
failure
Run the System Test. Contact
Genevac service for advice and notify
if the test produces an error code.
Poor condenser performance
Check the chiller is turned on and set
to remote control mode, or check the
coolant supply pressure and
temperature are correct.

against the bottom or side of the
reservoir.
Check the feed hose connections for
leaks (look for air bubbles in the feed
hoses).
Check the feed hoses for kinks or other
obstructions.
