Unpacking and Setting Up
Upon receipt of the equipment, please check
the packaging for damage before signing for
it. If there is any damage, contact the
Genevac Service department or your local
representative immediately. Refer to the
Genevac website:
contact details of Genevac representatives.
Read this user manual (and, where
applicable, the chiller operating manual)
before operating the system.
Packaging
Follow the instructions provided on the
Receiving and Unpacking Instructions
leaflet that is attached to the outside of the
Rocket evaporator packing case.
Lifting
Make sure enough people are present to
share the lifting safely. Carefully lift the
evaporator slightly at first to feel the weight
and centre of gravity, then lift into position
using the lifting hand-holds in the base.
Lifting hand-holds
Note:
Rocket 4D has high friction rubber feet which are designed to prevent movement on
the bench; to facilitate moving, it has a skid plate at the back. To manoeuvre the Rocket
into position, lift the front and slide it on a skid plate.
