Method guide
The Rocket 4D can store up to ten individual methods which can be accessed from the
Method Select menu. Factory loaded methods are described below (methods on your
Rocket may differ if they have been over-written).
Factory loaded methods
Feed enabled system

01 Feed Low BP Feed Single solvent or
Mixture of solvents with boiling points (within 20°C)
02 Feed Medium BP Feed Solvent boiling point > 90°C (including DMF)
03 Feed Aqueous Feed Water
04 Feed HPLC Feed Mixtures of solvents with dissimilar boiling points (more
than 20°C difference)
05 Batch Low BP Batch Single solvent with boiling point below 90°C
Mixed solvents: all boiling points within 20°C and below
90°
06 Batch Medium BP Batch Solvent boiling point > 90°C
07 Batch Aqueous Batch Water based solutions where freezing at 0°C is
anticipated
08 Batch HPLC Batch Mixtures of solvents with dissimilar boiling points (more
than 20°C difference)

When custom methods are loaded, unused method slots may be used. Alternatively the
factory pre-loaded methods may be over-written.
