The Fault Codes are:
F1
= High re sponse dur ing cali bra tion
This fault may oc cur for one of the fol low ing
rea sons:
l
Incorrect gas concentration - If the applied
gas concentration is too high.
l
Faulty sensor - A “-9" (0 to 20 ppm)
sensor is being used in a 0 to 100 ppm
application.
Take the ap pro pri ate ac tion:
l
Make sure that the gas concentration is
accurate.
l
Use the correct sensor.
NOTE
:
If the unit fails to cali brate and an
F1 or an F3 code is dis played, the cali bra -
tion gas must be re moved from the sen sor,
and the sen sor must see clean air for at
least five min utes bef ore a sec ond cali bra -
tion is at tempted.
F2
= Failed to com plete the Cali bra tion
This fault will oc cur if the unit is placed in the
cali bra tion mode and the sen sor has not re -
sponded within twelve min utes.
F3
= Low re sponse dur ing cali bra tion
This fault may oc cur for ei ther of the fol low -
ing rea sons:
l
Incorrect gas concentration - If the applied
gas concentration is too low.
l
Faulty sensor - The sensor may have
suffered a loss of sensitivity due to
contamination.
Take the ap pro pri ate ac tion:
l
Make sure that the gas concentration is
accurate.
l
Replace the sensor.
F4
= Sen sor heater is open cir cuited
This fault oc curs if the sen sor’s heater cir cuit
is open, or the sen sor’s black and/or white
leads have be come dis con nected or bro ken.
Make sure the black and white sen sor leads
are prop erly con nected to the Ter mi nal Block,
TB2. Re place the sen sor, if nec es sary.
F5
= Sen sor is short cir cuited
This fault oc curs if the sen sor heater switch -
ing tran sis tor short cir cuits.
Re place the sen sor.
