Figure 28: Driver Removal

Place the Head Unit on its back, with the Drivers facing up. Remove the four M6 screws and
their washers from the back of the driver and lift the driver out of the unit.

Remove the plastic backing from the new thermal pad before replacing it. Reinstall the new
driver and thermal pad, making sure that the cable exit hole on the driver cap lines up with
the driver cable coming from the Head Unit housing. Apply thread-locking compound to the
threads of the M6 screws before installing. Note the orientation of the diffuser. The flat
side of the Diffuser must be against the base of the driver.
