1.2 Personal Protective Equipment
ALWAYS wear personal protective equipment when using the
Torque Multiplier. The Torque Multiplier can slip or break during use
causing SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.
EYE PROTECTION (see ANSI Z87.1) designed to protect you from
FLYING OBJECTS must be worn when using the Torque Multiplier.
Particles may fly upward during work with the Torque Multiplier
and cause SERIOUS INJURY to your eyes.
SAFETY GLOVES must be worn when using the Torque Multiplier.
The Torque Multiplier unit can come loose or break during use
causing SERIOUS INJURY to your fingers and hands.
SAFETY SHOES with slip-resistant soles and steel toe caps (see
ASTM F2413-05) must be worn when using the Torque Multiplier.
Falling parts can cause SERIOUS INJURY to feet and toes.
1.3 Intended
Use
The Torque Multiplier is a hand-operated tool that is designed
explicitly to remove or tighten bolts and lug nuts. Improper use could
result in the unit coming loose when it is under load causing
SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.
DO NOT use the Torque Multiplier for any other purpose.
MISUSE can lead to SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.
DO NOT allow children to use the Torque Multiplier.
