Installation of CHALLENGER PC Terminals Supplied in Pre-wired Enclosures
1. Mounting the CHALLENGER FH/FHP Enclosures
-
Fix the STF pipe stand or EBF elbow stand to the floor or wall. Ensure that the floor
or wall is strong enough to take the load of the CHALLENGER enclosure system.

Refer to drawing 10100251 in appendix for instructions on how to fit the MB
coupling that connects the enclosure to the STF or EBF stands. Using the 4 screws
provided fit the FH or FHP enclosure to the MB coupling
2. Wiring
the
Terminal
-
Thread the power cable (100-240 V AC) through the M25 cable gland in the STF
or EBF stands to the 15-PSU or 18-PSU. Terminate the power cable like the chapter
“Design of the 15-PSU/18-PSU” and the drawings in the appendix.

The data cable should be threaded through the M20 cable gland on the STF or
EBF stands and terminated to connector K5 a per the following connection table.

The mechanical attributes of the cables must be heeded during installation.

The data cable should be wired directly from TCV2 to the display. Use of junction
boxes is not recommended.
