POSSIBLE CONFIGURATION ERRORS/PROBLEMS
- The programmable thermostat displays “ Att ” but the mobile device does not receive a response and does not create
the device:
A communication error occurred between the mobile device and the
programmable thermostat.
Return the programmable thermostat to Configuration mode .
Reconnect the mobile device to the “ Roma Wi-Fi ” Wi-Fi network and repeat the operation, moving the mobile device
closer to the programmable thermostat.
- If the Configuration is not sent from the mobile device to the programmable thermostat:
Disable the mobile device’s data network . If the problems persist, contact technical support.
- When the Wi-Fi module is turned on, the message appears: Er1 :
Lack of electrical power. Make sure the programmable thermostat is connected to the 230Vac - 50/60 Hz mains.
- If Er2 appears before or after the Configuration process :
RESET the Wi-Fi module and repeat the Setup process .
- If Er3 appears before or after the Configuration process :
The Wi-Fi settings you have entered are incorrect ( SSID or wrong Password ). RESET the Wi-Fi module and repeat
the Configuration process .
- If Er4 appears before or after the Configuration process :
The Wi-Fi module is connected to the Wi-Fi network but cannot access the Internet.
Check that the DHCP address is correct and that the router actually has access to the Internet and that there is no
firewall blocking the device (communication ports UDP 50001 and 53030). Then repeat the “Configuration”.
- If the problems persist, contact technical support.
ADD/DELETE DEVICE
To add a new device ( Roma Wi-Fi, Green Wi-Fi, GecApp Crono Wi-Fi, GecApp Crono GSM or
Telecontrollo GSM03 ) from the Home Screen of your mobile device:

Press the " " icon and then the
“ + ”
.
2 Select the new device to add.

Configure as described in “NEW DEVICE CONFIGURATION” section.
To delete an existing device, press the “ ” icon and then the “ ” icon adjacent to the device
name.
Press the “ “icon and confirm the deletion by pressing the OK .
ADD MOBILE DEVICE
To control a
Roma Wi-Fi
programmable thermostat that has already been configured by another device
(smartphone or tablet):
Make sure that you are connected to the Wi-Fi network to which the programmable thermostat is
connected and that you have downloaded the
GecApp
app to the new mobile device.

Start the APP.

Select Roma Wi-Fi and press the “ ” button. The APP will search for existing Roma Wi-Fi devices.

Select the device to link to (e.g. Home).
4 Enter the linking PIN you entered when configuring the programmable thermostat.

Confirm the operation by pressing the
OK
.
The programmable thermostat will now be controlled also by the new mobile device.
