The primary method for ensuring that the angled transducer head is pointing in the correct direction uses the
alignment marks on the downstream nozzle and the downstream Barrel assembly (see
below). The
alignment marking on the flange at the top of the Barrel must be in alignment with the nozzle, such that the
marking falls between the bolt holes straddling the upstream to downstream centerline, as shown below.
